Respected by the bench and bar as one of the longest serving and tenacious Suffolk County Legal Aid Society attorneys, Daniel Howard, Esq. has opened his own practice and joins Mitev Law Firm, P.C., serving as Of Counsel.
Mr. Howard has over a decade of unparalleled trial and litigation experience. He has settled countless cases and tried hundreds of matters and successfully represented clients through a wide range of issues from Article 10 Abuse and Neglect matters, Termination of Parental Rights, Custody, Visitation, Relocation, Child/Spousal Support, Article 8 Order of Protection matters, and family law appeals.
While working with the Family, District, and Social Work bureaus of the Legal Aid Society, Mr. Howard oversaw the coordination of appropriate services for various individuals in need. He remains committed to helping individuals, children, and families through the challenges and transitions of their legal proceedings. Mr. Howard dedicates his practice to providing a comforting and supportive atmosphere, while vigorously advocating in the courtroom. A natural litigator, his trial work is matched only by his skills as a negotiator. Having previously worked for a well-known Nassau County matrimonial firm he honed those skills working on high profile and high net worth divorces, complex settlement agreements, mediations, and all related actions.
